• understand that rotations are specified by a centre and an angle; rotate a shape about any point; measure the angle of rotation; understand that reflections are specified by a mirror line
• understand that rotations are specified by a centre and an angle, reflections by a line, translations by giving a distance and direction (or a vector), and enlargements by a centre and a positive scale factor; measure the angle of rotation;
• Properties of transformations
• recognise and visualise rotations, reflections and translations; transform triangles and other 2-D shapes by translation, rotation and reflection; distinguish properties that are preserved under particular transformations
